Insanity the only deity of this disconsolate kingdom. What has become of justice? Where has the benevolence of the former present receded? Is it hidden beneath the filth of generations? Namaste could not comprehend the future. A short bark of laughter was his only response, the remnants of Namaste’s silent fury wickedly brewing under the surface of his presentable guise.
Incriminating details of the North continued to ricochet about within the confines of his skull, his mind intricately weaving awareness into the web of disarray that had been created by the constant bickering of gossiping creatures. He had heard stories, myths that harbored a moral of good and bad, vertebrae of what is right and what is wrong but even so additional facts continued to disperse themselves into Namaste’s train of thought. Three dawns had risen since Namaste had last withdrawn himself from reality and set sail on a sea of dreams, three entire dawns. And as of now the daylight had begun to give birth to the night, eagerly welcoming the luminesce of the moon as the sun waved its fingertips over the contours of the earth for a final time that evening. He could no longer gallantly battle against the whims of sleep nor the ushering lullabies of his mother soothing his senses. It was only as his mind begun to waver between the void of dreams and reality that Namaste reached true satisfaction, his thoughts had been tamed for the time beings as he slinked into the shadows and adopted an untraceable reality within the boundaries of his imagination.

The frozen air seemed to cool as one awoke, the sudden warmth of the earth and all things on it would seem to chill, freezing one's body down to the roots. Such could easily be said for the young fox, Higure. Not much of an early bird, and a wanderer of the night, the welcoming darkness enshrouded him.
However, the same could not be said for the trudging of footsteps throughout the dead earth, crunching the freshly-laid snow beneath. Higure lifted his tired head, shaking his body free of the snow that had lain a thin sheet over his body. His throat caught tight in a sneeze, and he tried to dig his claws into the earth in order to stop it.
Futile. His body shook with the force, and he only succeeded in hurting his throat. Higure had lain beneath a maple tree, though this was, clearly, insufficient cover. As a gray fox, he stood out like a... Well, like a fox typically would in a snow-covered area. Of course, unless you were an arctic fox. Higure could not help but admire such animals, whose coats blended them in so well.
If only he could say the same for every animal, he may not have been sleeping the day away.
Lifting his maw into the air, he took in a deep breath and sniffed for scents. One powerful scent was quick to hit him, almost like a slap in the face rather than a welcome. "Namaste." He sulked, possibly his only word for days. How could one forget their own kingdom's leader? The lord?
Just the words made him wince in disgust. How could one walk around with his tail held so proudly for being around so many others? So unlike the young fox to stop himself from turning tail and leaving at the maned wolf's approach, as it was.

The mammals physical form lay motionless within the icy grip of the earths frozen exterior, the absence of sound the only commodity which anchored his mind to his anatomy. Namaste’s conscious was in a state of blissful stupor, inventiveness bounded about the vast expanse of his mind as he slipped in and out of awareness.
’Namaste’ a voice thrummed from a distance, the syllables were barely accompanied by sound as they journeyed throughout the atmosphere, worming their way into the ears of the deity himself. Time intervened between that moment and the next; the sudden sharp breaths of a creature and the probing of ones nasal cavity against the sides of Namaste’s composition caused his mentality to waver whilst an outbreak of displeasure erupted within the depths of his mindless reverie. A single inspire was enough to disclose the creatures identity, the distinctiveness of its scent revealing its classification almost immediately. ”Higure? Correct?” Namaste exhaled, the candied utterance of his words seeping from his maw in annoyance.
ooc: judge me all you want, it's okay if this post is terrible because in my defence I had a Japanese examination today. ; -- ;

Discomfort shook the young fox's body like a small earthquake. Has he realized his sniffing would have woken up the less-than happy lord, he may have strayed instead of assuming the maned wolf would sleep like a rock, as it were.
Higure swiveled his ears back, almost flattening them against his skull as the lithe dog-fox took a couple of steps back, narrowing his eyes in distrust for his own leader, however crude that may have been.
"Correct it is." The young fox forced out of his throat, sitting down and flicking his tail over his paws, the fur aligning his haunches rising as he did so. He tensed his small body, preparing to leap away in an instant if need be; sure, each of them had taken the code upon themselves, however he could not trust anyone. That was his life lesson.
Turning his head away, he allowed the fur on his back to lay flat. "Hm, not often I see any leaders around here." He chanced a comment. "Aside from tension or fighting." Higure's pupils rolled to the side, focusing on Namaste's body.
Normally, the gray fox would have avoided speaking; but when it came to a lord? Like hell he'd get away with that, and he knew it. ooc: Just thought I should say dog-fox is a male fox. He's not part dog. xD
