We all die. Some go out quietly with their breath on the final winds. Others choose a different route, shaken with violence. We walk this earth each day knowing that we all must fall in turn but there are those that seek immortality…and rebirth. By powers beyond us, sometimes we are granted the gift of a second life in our own skin, but not everyone is. Some believe it is because we had not finished our job on the plains of Maradal, other call it acts and gifts of Gods. There are those that seek the fabled philosopher’s stone and grant themselves eternal life or wealth beyond measure, though most do not place stock in these pup stories. As you walk these plains, remember two things. The worth of life can not be measured in any coin…and that you too, one day, will die.
